Playoffs - Round One
Weather causes confusion but teams move on in playoff push
Weather put a damper and confusion in the opening round of playoffs for the Wednesday Coed Soccer League at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, but several teams advanced in their pursuit for a championship.

The make-up matches that were scheduled for the 6:30-7:00 slots (7:00-7:30 slots after the 30 minute delay) were postponed. Teams are being offered one of two options regarding these matches:

1) $50 towards a team registration for the Summer season
2) $100 off our Mid-Summer Soccer Tournament on July 18th

If you are a captain or member of one of these eight teams, please e-mail Collin@sportsmonster.net to select your option. If no response is received, matches will be scheduled for this coming Wednesday, June 10th.

Four teams also lost due to forfeit, thanks to the weather. These teams will be playing in a "mini-tournament" starting on Wednesday, June 10th. The prize options have been sent to each captain.

As far as completed matches from this past Wednesday, No. 8 seed Sporting Summit earned a shutout win to advance to play the No. 1 Seed Chicken Dinner. A score of 4-0 vaulted Sporting Summit to the Quarterfinal match.

No. 4 seed CDOT and No. 7 seed Play Play Play advanced to the Semifnal round following wins. CDOT first beat No. 5 seed Good Touch, Bad Touch 2-1 while Play Play Play followed with a 2-0 win over the No. 2 seed Strive FC.

The Final is currently scheduled for next Wednesday, June 10th, but if the No. 1 or 8 seed advances to the Final round, the match will be played the following week on Wednesday, June 17th.
