Red Ball Vodka Wins their Fourth
We had triple headers for the first time all season to make up for the rain out. RED BALL VODKA had a big game, outkicking the ONE KICK WONDERS 14-2. The win has brought their record to (4-1) and puts them in third place. The ONE KICK WONDERS are still looking for their first win of the season.

They came close with their second game. They tied the RUBBER BUSTERS 4-4. This put them at (0-3-3) on the year. The RUBBER BUSTERS would then play DROP THE BASE for their second game. DROP THE BASE wasted little time. They got up and kept the lead, winning 10-1. DROP THE BASE has moved to (4-1) and currently second place.

On the other field, ADOBE ARMY pulled out a squeaker against RED ON RED. This is the only 1-0 kickball game that I have ever seen. It was ARMY’S first win of the season. Maybe they can get on a roll for playoffs. RED ON RED still sits in fourth place with the loss.

RED ON RED would then play the DOUBLE AGENTS. The DOUBLE AGENTS have not had a good season and this game wouldn’t help. Frustrated from their lack of runs in their first game, RED ON RED came out kicking. They would cross ten kickers across home plate to take the victory, 11-0.

THE DOUBLE AGENTS would then play BALL, SWEAT, AND BEERS. This game got ugly quick-as the number one team did what most number one teams do to last place teams. BSB would stay undefeated as they won 13-1. It was a moral victory for the agents to get that one run. The DOUBLE AGENTS are still looking for their first victory.

Ball, Sweat and Beers are Undefeated Regular Season Champs
It took a lot of work, but the regular season is in the books. Congratulations to BALL, SWEAT AND BEERS for finishing the season with an undefeated record. But can they win the whole thing? RED BALL VODKA will be looking for revenge, and DROP THE BASE is no pushover either.

In the games last night, DROP THE BASE won the first game over the ONE KICK WONDERS 4-1. It was a pretty good game for the OKW to only lose by three runs against one of the best teams in the league.

DROP THE BASE had a double header. For their second game they faced undefeated BALL, SWEAT AND BEERS. This game was everything that you would expect from top notch kickball teams. With good defense, it is very hard to score in kickball. It was a pitchers’ duel to the very end until BSB won 2-1 to stay undefeated.

BALL, SWEAT AND BEERS would then play the RUBBER BUSTERS. The RUBBER BUSTERS were shutout to end their regular season.
ADOBE ARMY was out on a company retreat, so they had to forfeit their games.

In the last game, RED BALL VODKA put together a seven run inning to break the game wide open. RED ON RED couldn’t get anything together after that. RED BALL VODKA finished their regular season in second place.

Ball, Sweat and Beers Win Championship!
Congratulations to BALL, SWEAT, AND BEERS for winning the league! The number one seed would live up to their expectations. They started the day off going up against RED ON RED in the semifinal. It wasn’t much of a game as they poured on the runs to win 13-1.

In the quarterfinal matchup, RED ON RED beat the RUBBER BUSTERS with a 14-2 kicking. On the other side of the bracket, ADOBE ARMY would narrowly defeat DROP THE BASE 3-1. This was quite the upset, as ADOBE ARMY was the sixth seed, and DROP THE BASE was a powerful three seed.

ADOBE ARMY would advance to play RED BALL VODKA. ADOBE ARMY would hold their own against the two seeded team, but the game wouldn’t end in their favor. RED BALL VODKA would win 8-3 to advance to the championship.

The championship was as good as you could make it. Both teams are very athletic and don’t make mistakes. Nobody could score any runs for the first five innings. Three up and three down was the usual process. It wasn’t until the sixth inning that RED BALL VODKA strung some hits/kicks together to score one run. In the bottom half, BSB would answer back to tie it up 1-1. RED BALL wouldn’t score in the seventh, so we went to the bottom half. BSB was able to get two runners on and then advance them both to 2nd and 3rd with a well placed sacrifice kick. The next kicker kicked a fly ball just over second base. The ball was caught, but it was deep enough to bring in Aaron to win the game 2-1. This was a very strategic and well played game by both teams.

Thanks for playing! Don’t forget to sign up for the Summer League!
