Quiet Agents Remain Undefeated
In an effort to get all of the games in, we have made it a five game set on Sunday. In the first game of the day, the MILE HIGH SLUGGERS took down WHERE MY PITCHES AT. It was a lop-sided game that was called early due to the slaughter rule. The win has moved SLUGGERS into second third place and put PITCHES in fourth.

POP AND LOCHNESS MONSTER beat the NIMRODS by quite a bit. The win had moved MONSTER into second place with a (3-1) record. The NIMRODS dropped down to last place.

The QUIET AGENTS look to be the team to beat. They haven’t lost a game all season. They won their first game against the CRAZY AGENTS and then beat the DENVER DUSTERS to improve to (5-0). They will be tested as they take on the MILE HIGH SLUGGERS next week.

After the CRAZY AGENTS lost to the QUIET AGENTS, they then played the DENVER DUSTERS. It was a good game, but the QUIET AGENTS took the win, improving to (2-3) in fifth place.

With their two losses, the DENVER DUSTERS drop to sixth place with the same record as the NIMRODS.

Rains Ruin Games
The NIMRODS took on the CRAZY AGENTS to start the Sunday games. The AGENTS were really low on players, so they borrowed some to make it a competitive game. The AGENTS got ahead early, and wouldn’t look back. They ended up winning pretty handedly.

MILE HIGH SLUGGERS missed their double header due to one of the players getting hitched! The NIMRODS and the QUIET AGENTS both received wins.

At three o’clock, the rains started. After five minutes of raining, the field was already a giant mud puddle. The rest of the games would have to be rescheduled.

Crazy Agents Rally
CRAZY AGENTS posted one of the best 2-out rallies that I've ever seen. With 2-outs, they scored 7 runs, and left the bases loaded when one of their own flied-out on a high fly, caught just inside the fence in left field. Crazy Agents went on to win the game easily. The win has brought them to (4-4) on the season, right in the middle of the pack. WHERE MY PITCHES AT? dropped to (2-4).

CRAZY AGENTS pulled out a close one to complete the double-header win. POP AND LOCHNESS MONSTER, the second place team, dropped to (3-2) on the season.

The QUIET AGENTS would then beat the POP AND LOCHNESS MONSTERS.

The DENVER DUSTERS didn’t show up, so they had to lose their game against the MILE HIGH SLUGGERS.

In the last game of the day, the MILE HIGH SLUGGERS put a beating on the NIMRODS. The NIMRODS finish their season at (3-4) and the SLUGGERS finished right in front of them at (4-4).

Next week we will have two games. And then playoffs will commence after those games!

Season finals.
Season ends with exceptional play.
In the final two games of the season the Denver Dusters had to be proud of their heart and effort; even though they dropped the double-header.
In the first game the Dusters took a lead of 7-1. But the team with wandering pitches kept the pressure on, scoring in every inning; until they caught up in the bottom of the 7th to finally win by 2 runs, 13-11,.
2nd game of the double-header.
Heart Breaker
Pop n Lochness monsters outlasted the Dusters.
After taking a lead of 3-1, the little 'Ness'ies out scored the Dusters 6-3 to win the second game of the double-header.
The Dusters played over their heads all day, they had to feel good about the heart they showed, and the way they played like familia. And having fun.
First playoff game: a Real Barn Burner!
Playoffs? You wanna talk about playoffs?
In the first round game of the spring league tournament, the Pop n Loc Nessies took a commanding lead of 14-3 into the top of the 5th inning.
Facing elimination and a mercy rule ending to the season, Nimrods came alive to score 15 unanswered runs to win 18-14 after time had expired, and the Poppers made 3 outs in four at bats to lose in the bottom of the 6th inning.
Crazy Agents Advance
In the second playoff game, the CRAZY AGENTS were able to score 14 runs. This proved to be enough runs to give them the victory over the DENVER DUSTERS. This was the third game of the day for the DUSTERS, which might have factored into the final result. The CRAZY AGENTS advance to the semifinals to be played this Sunday.
Sluggers Out-slug
In the last quarterfinal game, the MILE HIGH SLUGGERS were able to beat WHERE MY PITCHES AT 12-5. This was a pretty good game, but the SLUGGERS proved to be too much for PITCHES. The SLUGGERS advance to the semifinals to take on the CRAZY AGENTS.

Sluggers Win Championship!
The SLUGGERS started their day off in the semifinals against the CRAZY AGENTS. The CRAZY AGENTS put up a lot of runs, but it wasn’t nearly enough, as the SLUGGERS won by eleven to advance to the championship.

In the other semifinal game, the undefeated QUIET AGENTS were not going to settle for an early exit. They strung some hits together to and run up the score. The NIMRODS were no match, as they lost 13-3.

The championship match was set, and both teams were ready. The SLUGGERS, the third seed, had their full squad and was going to use it. They immediately got some runs up on the board and wouldn’t back down. Playoff MVP, Amanda, led the way with her excellent contact hitting, steady fielding, and her great arm. No matter how hard the QUIET AGENTS tried, they couldn’t close the gap. The SLUGGERS would pull off the upset and win the championship.

Thanks, for the great season! Summer is right around the corner!
