ACES STAY ON TOP
The ACES remain at the top of the standings after beating the Stragglers. The STRAGGLERS surprised a lot of people winning the first game 21-11. But the ACES battled back, winning game two 21-9, and the deciding game three 15-7.

The DAC ALL-STARS got back into their normal groove, taking three from the PANCAKES. The PANCAKES almost took the third game, but couldn’t quite pull it out, they lost 16-14.

The VERTICALS had a surprise upset on the SHIRAZ’S. They lost the first game, but managed to win the second and the final game to win the match. It is only their second win on the season and the SHIRAZ’S second loss. THE SHIRAZ’S still hold onto second place with the Power Index.

Stragglers Sweep Pancakes
In the first game, the STRAGGLERS were able to take three from the PANCAKES. Both teams are at the bottom of the standings with similar game styles. All three games were pretty close, but the STRAGGLERS would take all three to win the match.

The DAC ALL-STARS, with only three players, were still able to sweep the VERTICALS. They won the first game big, 21-11, but the next two games were more difficult. The VERTICALS made a last-ditch effort in the last game, but came up short 18-16. DAC has finished in second place and will receive a bye for the first round.

In the nightcap, the ACES swept the SHIRAZ’S. The first game was really competitive, but the SHIRAZ’S were missing some of their power players. This left the door wide open for the ACES, as they took down the third place team in three straight sets. The ACES will head to the playoffs with the top seed and the SHIRAZ’S are third.

Stragglers and Shiraz's Advance
The playoffs are finally here. The VERTICALS took on the STRAGGLERS, but couldn’t get any good streaks going. The fourth seed will move on to play number one ACES next week in the semifinals.

In the second game, the number three ranked SHIRAZ’S beat the PANCAKES in three games. The SHIRAZ’S won the first game 21-15. But the PANCAKES battled back and won the second game 21-19 to force a ‘winner advance game three.’ The SHIRAZ’S would not stumble, as they got up and kept the lead winning 15-9 to advance to the semifinals. Next week they will play the DAC ALL-STARS.

Cinderella Story!
What a Cinderella story! The STRAGGLERS, the 4th seed, beat the STRAGGLERS 21-16 in the first game of the day. The ACES, number one seed, returned the favor-winning 21-11. It would take extra points in game three to decide who would win this one! The game went back and forth until the STRAGGLERS pulled out the upset with an 18-16 victory. Taking the match 2-1.

In the other semifinal, the DAC ALL-STARS took care of the SHIRAZ’S in straight sets. They won the first game 21-17. The SHIRAZ’S lost some of their momentum and didn’t play well in the second game, losing 21-9. The DAC ALL-STARS would advance to the chipper.

Nobody expected the STRAGGLERS to make it this far, but it seemed like destiny was on their side. In the first game, the DAC ALL-STARS took it 21-17. The STRAGGLERS buckled down and won the next game 21-18, forcing a winner take all game 3. The STRAGGLERS were able to hold on to their momentum and would cruise to a 15-9 victory taking the set and match.

Congratulations to the STRAGGLERS for winning the championship. Thanks for the great season!
