Summer 2015 Thursday Men's Competitive Basketball @ DU

KPMG downed GO BUFFS in a pretty close game. Both teams came into the game with a (1-0) record so we could expect it to be a good game. In the end, KPMG just had the better game. They are now (2-0) and GO BUFFS are (1-1).

JESUS SHUTTLESWORTH beat AFTER THE BUZZER by three points in a barn burner. The defending champions from the Spring league had their hands full with the newly formed team. AFTER THE BUZZER dropped to (0-2) after the game and JESUS SHUTTLES WORTH went to (2-0).

AFTER THE BUZZER had to get up for their second game of the night; their next opponent was the BUZZER BEATERS. The BUZZER BEATERS took advantage of their fresh legs and pulled off the win to get their first win of the season. ATB dropped to (0-3).

The BUZZER BEATERS then had a double-header themselves. They played the GOATS. The GOATS came into the game (0-1). They also had the advantage with being fresh and they pulled away and won the game by eight.

KPMG had a good day on the court. They won both of their games. Their first game was against the GOATS, and they beat them by ten. The second game was much closer, coming down to the wire. They faced undefeated JESUS SHUTTLESWORTH. Both teams haven’t lost yet, so it had a lot of potential to be a great game. And boy was it; both teams played their hearts out. Even with it being the second game for them, KPMG was able to pull it off. They won by two points and remained undefeated at (4-0).

JESUS SHUTTLESWORTH then had to play GO BUFFS. Their tiredness didn’t affect them too much. They took care of the GO BUFFS and improved to (3-1).

For the last game, AFTER THE BUZZER took on the BUZZER BEATERS. Both teams faced each other two weeks ago, with the BUZZER BEATERS winning that one. That wasn’t the case this time, as Eric Hurtado led the way and helped his team to victory. AFTER THE BUZZER went up by one game in the standings over the BUZZER BEATERS.
